Life is eternal and love is immortal; And death is only a horizon, And a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. Rossiter W. Raymond

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Megan Evans who passed away on July 7, 2007 at the age of 7. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Megan Elizabeth Evans, age seven, of Flagstaff Arizona, left this world on July 7th, 2007.  Megan passed following a tragic accident while on a family trip to Lake Powell.  She now rests in the hands of God.
Megan was born to Matthew and Jennifer Evans on February 16th, 2000.  From the day she was born she filled our lives with all that is good… life, energy, laughter and love.  She loved to entertain; putting on productions and dances for anyone that would watch.  She made this world a brighter place for everyone that knew her, filling life with a sense of adventure and excitement.  Megan loved life.  She spent hours making beautiful artwork to brighten the rooms of family and friends. She reveled in all that nature had to offer, from planting beautiful flowers to opening her heart and tending to all of Gods creatures.  Megan was both a beautiful little girl who loved to play models with her cousin Natalie, and a strong go-getter who spent hours wrestling around with her brother and cousins.
Megan was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and friend.  Megan will be truly missed by everyone whose life she touch.  While on earth she was our angel, we now believe she is “God’s little jackpot”.  Megan’s final hours were spent surrounded by family and wonderful friends. She passed from this world encircled by nothing but the deepest love.
Megan is survived by her parents, Matthew and Jennifer Evans, her big brother McKenzie, and her little sister Camryn.  She is also survived by a close extended family, including Great Grandparents Audrey Hayden, Betty Evans and Victor Kibler, Grandparents, Jim and Claudia Schroeder, Karen Evans and Michael and Linda Evans, Aunts and Uncles, Krista and Roy Renning and Kristen and Peter Davia, and cousins, Hayden, Kyle and Natalie Renning.  Megan is also survived by further extended family and friends, too many to record in one short page. Megan was our shining star, and the lives she touched will never be the same without her.
Megan was lost due to Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Her family and friends would like to prevent other families from suffering this loss, and have set up the Megan
Evans Memorial Cause to raise awareness of this unseen danger. More information on Megan’s Cause can be found at www.meganscause.org.
